Hi, I’m Noémi,

I come from a village in eastern Hungary. I’ve always loved crafting and trying out all kinds of techniques. I love beauty, which I consider independent of style, so I can appreciate baroque architecture just as much as art nouveau or graffiti, tattoos, not to mention literature or beautifully crafted wooden furniture, and music.

I started my brand 15 years ago with my own name, but I changed it a couple of years ago because I wanted a less personal, independent name. Needless to say, I thought about the right new name for years before I finally managed to come up with it.

I have been living in the Netherlands for 10 years now, which still inspires me to this day. Since emigrating is not an easy ride (I learned 2 languages, for example), unfortunately I don’t have time for my craft full time anymore, and in the meantime I also became a mother, but I don’t give up on always taking some time out to create. So even after 15 years, I still really like sewing, recycling, and figuring out how to use textiles with almost zero waste. And of course, I also have fun with DIY home renovations, furniture renovations, enz. Sometimes, if it works out that way, I also play the piano.
